More better :)
I was thinking today about my droopy attitude this last week or so, and God brought to mind the verses in 1 Corinthians 13 about what love is and what love does. And as I was reading that love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things, I was reminded of how much I need God's power--I am helpless to do this Annie gig in my own strength.
So--last post I mentioned I'd like to see Annie to reach for things more. This weekend, while I was at our church's women's retreat, (yea Bill for holding down the fort!) Annie began to reach to the side--not just down in front of her. With Both Hands. Like I said in the comments of the last post, my son Taylor saw her playing with one of her toys, and pointed out that the last time he saw her--a couple of weeks ago--she didn't play with her toys like she's doing now. Thank you, Lord!!
Something else new--after Bill & I put her in her bed tonight, she kept looking behind her at the quilt on the wall. It has colorful fish on it, and she kept turning around to look at it, whereas before, she hadn't seemed to notice it. And another subtle change is her cry--sometimes when she cries it seems that she's really just sad about something...like not being able to talk. :( She's not screaming nearly as much as she had been, but this cry is a little different and a little more "aware."
One thing to pray about--her drop seizures are over the top today. I counted about 14. They're only a second or so long, but we really need them to stop. They are probably a result of the viral infection that she still has--which is yet another thing to pray about.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
